The legal weed market in New Jersey has grown slowly over the last year, but it has bloomed since the start of the season. We have reached the milestone of 35 recreational dispensaries. There are many more stores that are posed to open their doors by the end of the summer.
Here are the 11 adult-use retail locations that opened their doors, so far, in 2023.
Below are the locations and hours of operation for each new dispensary, broken down by region and county. Click on the town for the store website.
Take note that all accept cash at the register, and some accept debit cards. Most stores have ATMs inside. A government-issued form of ID is required for entry.
North Jersey
There were two new dispensaries added to the cluster of stores located in the northern reaches of the state.
Hudson County
- Harmony in Secaucus, 600 Meadowlands Parkway, Suite 15, Call: (201) 356-7268. Hours: 9 a.m.- 10 p.m. Sunday-Friday, 9 a.m.-11 p.m. on Saturday.
Passaic County
- Mountain View Farmacy in West Milford, 74 Oak Ridge Rd., Call: (973) 319-6420. Hours: 12 p.m.-8 p.m.
Central Jersey
In Central Jersey, five retail locations were added in four counties.
Mercer County
- BLOC in Ewing, 1761 N. Olden Ave., Call: (973) 494-8499. Hours: 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sunday.
Middlesex County
- Earth & Ivy in Downtown New Brunswick, 355 George St., Call: (732) 317-2992. Hours: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Somerset County
- BLOC in Somerset, 1075 Easton Ave., Unit 21, Call: (732) 790-5899. Hours: 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
- Valley Wellness in Raritan, at 407 U.S. Route 202, Call: (908) 429-6680. Hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Ocean County
- The Social Leaf in South Tom’s River, 334 Atlantic City Blvd., Call: (732) 358-6800. Hours: 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
South Jersey
Four more stores were added to South Jersey this year, bringing the total of dispensaries servicing the south to nine:
Camden County
- Holistic Solutions in Atco, 451 White Horse Pike, Call: (856) 270-7067. Hours: 10:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
- Sweetspot in Voorhees, 903 White Horse Road, Call: (856) 882-3481. Hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Gloucester County
- Nova Farm in Woodbury, 642 Mantua Ave., Call: (856) 202-7273. Hours: 8 a.m-10 p.m.
Atlantic County
- MPX in Atlantic City, 153 S. New York Ave., Unit B, Call: (609) 616-7770. Hours: 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Monday, 1 p.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, noon-8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday. Closed on Sunday.
