After one year, five months and eight days since statewide adult-use cannabis sales began in New Jersey, the state’s second largest city will finally get a recreational store to call its own.

RIPT Dispensary, which became Jersey City’s first cannabis business when it opened for medicinal sales in July, will now get to claim history as the city’s first adult-use store when it launches recreational sales Sept. 29 at 10 a.m.
