Hudson County’s burgeoning cannabis industry is slowly coming into full bloom, with dispensaries in Jersey City and Hoboken opening their doors. But at the same time, the county’s first-ever dispensary, in Secaucus, is likely to shutter its doors and leave the region with one less legal weed option for the foreseeable future.

Two new recreational dispensaries in Jersey City are opening within the next week — Garden Greenz at 190 Newark Ave., on the Downtown Newark Avenue Pedestrian Plaza, and The Cannabis Place 420 Corp., at 1544 Kennedy Blvd. in Greenville.
