Smartcat, an enterprise language AI platform, has raised $43 million in Series C funding to accelerate its expansion. This funding round was led by Left Lane Capital and comes amid increased demand for AI-based translation and multilingual content generation solutions.

The company’s technology platform, which uses AI to translate and create content for global enterprises, has various corporate use cases including learning & development, marketing and product. Smartcat currently serves more than 1,000 enterprise customers, including over 20 percent of the Fortune 500.

The fresh capital will support the advancement of Smartcat’s current and future AI offerings. The platform recently introduced a multilingual AI video translation and dubbing solution, as well as an AI solution for creating learning content. These advancements are designed to help enterprises ensure efficient and effective communication across different languages and regions.
