COLUMBIANA– The new Columbiana Arts Theater (CAT) is bringing exciting business development experiences to Columbiana, through our Advancing at The CAT Business Symposium Series.
The first symposium will focus on artificial intelligence, with the plan to have monthly symposiums in 2025. AI is now both everywhere and inevitable. Business people all need to actively explore this, and find out how to best use it.
“This need not be a frightening thought! We have perspectives to help you embrace it,” said Jonathan Altfeld, expert on AI Knowledge-Based Decision Systems. “AI offers an invitation to everyone, and there will always be a need for the human element.”
This two-hour event, which is co-sponsored alongside the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce, will provide a “mind-blowing” exploration of how AI has been transforming businesses around the world and continues to evolve using endless recent developments in Generative AI.
Altfeld, who is an expert on AI Knowledge-Based Decision Systems,will host this first event, and share an accelerated history of AI to provide context for our discussions. Panelists include Greg Smith, chairman of Compco Industries and owner of the CAT, who will present on sequencing Generative AI tools; Columbiana businesswoman Dani Edgerton, who will print five ways to use AI in your retail business; and Devyn Bellamy, senior marketing manager at Hubspot, who will talk about using Generative AI in Marketing and Web Development.
There are two opportunities to attend the event, Thursday, Sept. 26 from 6-8 p.m. or Friday, Sept. 27 from 9-11 a.m. Tickets are $30 for the general public and $20 for members of the Columbiana Chamber of Commerce.
