NY Cannabis Insider (NYCI) is hosting its only full-day industry conference of the year at the Crowne Plaza (Desmond Hotel) in Albany, N.Y. on September 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Details and tickets available here.
The full-day event will feature interactive discussions with panelists who represent the biggest components of the adult-use ecosystem throughout the state and will discuss current issues facing growers, dispensaries, processors, and laboratories, among others.
Panelists and speakers sharing their perspectives include:
· Joseph W. Belluck, Esq. is chairman of the Cannabis Advisory Board. He is widely recognized for his outstanding representation of his legal clients, high ethical standards, and public service and has been advocating for cannabis legalization since 1985.
· Tyme Ferris is Founder & CEO of Pantheon Perspective LLC. He is a long time community, cannabis, environmental conservation, and lgbtq+ rights activist, Tyme Ferris has been a leader in the regulated cannabis market for nearly two decades.
· Susan Filburn is the Chief Administrative Officer at the NYS Office of Cannabis Management. She is focused on stabilizing and formalizing administrative functions of the agency to support licensing, compliance and enforcement operations. She also works to streamline the license review process and improve responsiveness.

Nikki is a leading voice in the community, chronicling her journey from a healthcare provider to a patient to an advocate.
· Matthew Leonardo is a Principal at Hinman Straub. He is a member of the Firm’s Health Law, Cannabis Law and Government Relations departments. Mr. Leonardo represents diverse interests in cannabis before the legislature, including Cultivators, the Black Cannabis Industry Association, the Asian Cannabis Roundtable, and other stakeholders.
· David O’Brien is President and Chief Executive Officer at Massachusetts Cannabis Business Association.
· Lynn Parodneck, MD is a medical marijuana practitioner in Bedford NY. As a leading expert in all things cannabis, she has a community based practice from a 200 year old carriage house.
· Dr. Kenneth Weinberg is Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Cannabis Doctors of New York. When New York State’s Compassionate Care Act was passed in January of 2016 he founded Cannabis Doctors of New York. The practice certifies patients, educates the public, and advocates for the many benefits of medical marijuana.
· Patrick Weinert is a cultivator with Jane’s Garden.
