PA CareerLink Lancaster County mobile website has AI resume writing, job fair info

Local job fair information, career training, and an artificial intelligence tool that helps create resumes and draft cover letters are among the features offered on a new mobile-friendly website from PA CareerLink Lancaster County.

Launched late last year, the website is available at lanc.news/CareerLinkMobile. The website looks like an app, which is how CareerLink identifies it, but there is no download required.

Included on the site are links to local social service agencies and PA CareerLink’s social media. Users can also send text messages to PA CareerLink through the site.

An “AI mentor” drafts cover letters, provides job interview prep, suggests keywords for a resume – all with the disclaimer that the AI generated results should be checked for accuracy.

In a news release, PA CareerLink Lancaster County Site Administrator Christine Roggenbaum said the resources are invaluable for people navigating their career journey.

“Whether you’re searching for job opportunities, need career advice, or are looking to upskill, our app provides an easy and accessible way to get support right from your phone,” Roggenbaum said.
