SAP and Inspired Education have renewed their partnership to introduce AI-driven HR solutions for 14,000 employees worldwide.
Inspired Education, which operates 120 private schools for over 95,000 students across six continents, will implement SAP SuccessFactors and SAP’s AI copilot, Joule, to support recruitment, employee retention, and HR efficiency.
AI integration in HR operations
With 60% of its employees being teachers, Inspired Education required a centralized HR system to streamline its global workforce management. The renewed partnership with SAP, which has been in place for five years, will focus on automating HR processes, improving recruitment, and using AI for data-driven decision-making.
SAP’s AI-powered HR tools will assist in performance management, benefits administration, and employee training. The introduction of self-service HR functionality will reduce manual administrative tasks, allowing HR teams to focus on operational strategy.
Joule, SAP’s AI copilot, will be integrated into Inspired Education’s recruitment and HR management. The tool will analyze CVs, match candidates to job profiles, and generate interview questions and assessment tasks, optimizing the hiring process across multiple regions.
Joule will also be used to track employee performance metrics, providing data for performance reviews, training programs, and internal mobility. The system will support HR teams in developing career progression plans and structuring benefit programs.
Leila Romane, Managing Director, SAP UK and Ireland, said:
“Our partnership with Inspired Education continues to go from strength to strength. Global organizations need access to real-time data insights to deliver value to their employees. With SAP SuccessFactors and the deployment of our copilot, Joule, we are driving genuine transformation that will see Inspired Education better understand its workforce, how they operate, produce better talent recruitment and retention strategies, whilst reducing heavy administrative processes. We’ll continue to work together to ensure Inspired Education remains at the forefront of educational excellence.”
Implementation of SAP SuccessFactors
Inspired Education will introduce SAP SuccessFactors in multiple stages over three years. The initial phase includes Employee Central, Performance, and Recruiting modules, with Onboarding, Compensation, and Workforce Analytics scheduled for later implementation.
The rollout plan allows Inspired Education to customize the platform for its global workforce while ensuring compliance with local employment regulations. The multi-language functionality of SAP SuccessFactors will help support staff across different regions.
Torben Lundberg, Chief Information Officer, Inspired Education, added:
“We are committed to providing a premium educational experience for all 95,000 of our students, and our teachers and staff are key to this ambition. As an organization, we recognized the need for a unified HR platform that could bring together our operations worldwide and drive out inefficiencies, increasing internal mobility and empowering our staff to do what they do best without unnecessary burden. SAP SuccessFactors will support us through our work in transforming our processes and workflows through digital tools.”
