Artificial intelligence (AI) has introduced a service that recommends jobs customized in consideration of job seekers’ careers and interests, and writes resumes and self-introductions based on storytelling.

According to TechCrunch, a U.S. IT media outlet, Google recently unveiled a new AI-based tool called “Career Dreamer” for job seekers. Career Dreamers are AI helpers to help job seekers find a job or job that suits them.

Career Dreamers consist of three stages: storytelling, possibility exploration, and resume writing. Storytelling is the process of writing a cover letter. When information related to academic background, career, experience, skills, and interests is entered, AI analyzes the relationship and pattern of information views and organizes the strengths and values of job seekers in sentences.

Possibility search is a function of searching for suitable or suitable occupational groups for job seekers. Based on the previously entered content, it shows jobs that can be selected at the present stage or targeted in the future, and through this, it helps to orient yourself to an area that suits your interest or aptitude. Job seekers can then use Google’s AI assistant, Gemini, to write and revise resumes and cover letters and receive ideas for more jobs.

“There are many job seekers who have difficulty constructing their previous experiences into consistent stories,” Google said on its blog. “Career Dreamers can be of great help.”

According to TechCrunch, unlike other recruitment-related platforms such as LinkedIn, career dreamers are not linked to actual job postings. Currently, it is only available in the United States.
