As AI and machine learning technologies continue to boom worldwide, non-human identities are emerging more frequently. Whilst these can be integral to automated and cloud-based workloads, there is a great need to ensure these processes are secure.
As a result, identity security is more critical than ever in today’s business landscape – particularly as digital environments become more complex, as Managing Director for SailPoint Australia and New Zealand, Nam Lam, explains.
“SailPoint ensures users can access the digital resources that they need to do their jobs optimally and as productively as possible in the most secure way,” Nam says.
SailPoint: The ERP for Identity Management
SailPoint provides enterprise identity security and governance software that help organisations manage and secure user identities, including their access to applications, systems and data. As Nam highlights, the company secures identities across any digital ecosystem, irrespective of how complex the environment is.
“It’s important to ensure that human and non-human users are secure and can be optimal in carrying out their roles and job functions,” Nam says.
Identity management has a broad spectrum of capabilities, but Nam explains that SailPoint has a ‘behind the scenes’ role to ensure access security.
“The workforce isn’t just staff, it extends to third party users as well. SailPoint provides the governance, management, security and automation for all identities enabling digital access for users internally and externally from a central control point,” Nam comments.
Creating a safer work environment can also lead to more positive business outcomes.
“What really drives productivity for most organisations? It’s our people,” Nam says.
