Position Overview:

Dow Jones is looking for an accomplished Analyst to join our AI Governance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and their implications for news and content aggregators. You will be instrumental in streamlining AI led growth across Dow Jones and its parent organization, News Corp. You will report to the VP, AI Governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and evaluate vendors providing AI solutions in areas like employee productivity enhancement, assessing their capabilities and identifying potential risks

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of AI vendors, evaluating their technology, data privacy practices, identifying potential risks and developing controls / mitigation strategies

  • Contribute to developing company-wide guidelines for internal and client use of Gen AI/LLMs, ensuring ethical and responsible AI adoption and data protection

  • Provide strategic insights, identifying emerging trends and risks, and develop innovative approaches for AI governance

  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement AI governance strategies and address challenges

  • Program managing AI initiatives across the organization including pilots, AI learning & communications; Developing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring efficiencies across all initiatives

  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Here are some things that we’d prefer to see, though none is independently a requirement:

  • B.Tech / Graduation

  • 1-3 years of work experience

  • Great Powerpoint, storyboarding and Excel skills

  • Experience in working with senior leadership

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Interest in Gen AI space and eager to explore and learn more in data and AI
