Last summer when Hypepotamus caught up with Voiceworx.ai, an Atlanta-based startup focused on bringing businesses their own AI-powered digital assistants, the team was excited about the energy surrounding Atlanta’s growing AI scene.
The Voiceworx team, composed of CTO Sam Eniojukan and founding partner Jeremiah Oyemade, were early local innovators in the AI space after launching the startup in 2017 out of ATDC.
Now, the team is celebrating a successful acquisition.
Voiceworx announced last week it was acquired by Concentrix, a public California-based business process outsourcing company recently placed on the Fortune 500 list.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Concentrix has offices globally, and has a presence currently in Valdosta, Georgia. Following the acquisition, Eniojukan will join the company as Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Oyemade as Product Lead.
The VoiceWorx engineering team will also join the Concentrix IX engineering group, according to a company LinkedIn post.
Eniojukan told Hypepotamus that Concentrix’s enterprise focus made it the “perfect company to take [Voiceworx]’s innovative AI technology to customers globally.”
“The vision when we started VoiceWorx was to help enterprises solve for multi-channel engagement with AI and even though the technology landscape kept evolving and GenAI brought us more powerful tech to create powerful experiences, the vision has remained the same and we have had to continually innovate to deliver results for our customers,” he added.
The acquisition of Voiceworx underscores a broader trend in the AI startup landscape of 2025, as M&A activity has been picking up across the startup ecosystem.
