Adam Bessie is the author of the graphic memoir Going Remote: A Teacher’s Journey (with Peter Glanting for Seven Stories Press & The Censored Press), which was selected by the American Library Association as one of the top adult nonfiction graphic novels of 2023. Adam is a community college English professor in the San Francisco Bay Area whose comics have been published in The New Yorker, The Atlantic and more.
