For more than a year since recreational cannabis sales began in New Jersey, Jersey City residents have been waiting and waiting for any dispensaries to open, despite the numerous entrepreneurs rushing into the state’s second largest city to open a facility.

But this summer, the wait could soon be over as one man has set his sights on opening his pawn shop-turned-dispensary this August, which, barring any other surprises, would make it the very first dispensary to open in the city.
