Complete list of all the medical weed stores in N.J.

This post was originally published on this site.

Every month there are several new weed retail stores opening up in New Jersey. So far we have at least one in a majority of the state’s 21 counties. There are 30 stores serving both medical patients and recreational consumers, and 14 medical-only dispensaries. Six medical stores that have delivery options available for medicinal marijuana patients.

Jeff Brown, the executive director of New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission, said that they have issued 40,000 patient cards and 2,736 caregiver cards in this fiscal year.

The number of patients renewing their medical cards for access to these medical-only spots is decreasing monthly. In June 2023, the patient count was 105,060, down nearly 24,000 people from 129,001 the previous year, he said at this month’s CRC meeting.

“We know that our medicinal numbers are decreasing,” said CRC Commissioner Charles Barker. “It’s critical that we get into communities and remove the stigma and meet them where they are.”

It appears the more the recreational market grows, the more patient numbers dwindle. Stores that serve both medical and adult-use customers must set aside patient-only service hours and parking.

Below is the complete list of the 44 locations and hours of operation for each dispensary, broken down by region and county. Click on the town for the store website.
