HARRISON — It was all about “getting baked” Wednesday morning in Harrison, the small town located across the river from Newark — but not about cakes and pastries; and not about getting a tan under the bright sun.
Instead, people from all across the metropolitan area, and even one person from as far away as Cumberland County, lined up around the block to be among the first customers at Cookies Harrison, the first recreational cannabis shop to open in the town.
