NJ Cannabis Insider Oct. 12 conference afterparty at one of N.J.’s top restaurants of 2023

At least a dozen legal weed dispensaries are confirmed to participate at NJ Cannabis Insider’s day-long conference on Oct. 12 in Newark, featuring a Who’s Who cast of cannabis industry speakers. The official afterparty will take place that evening at Little Tijuana just minutes away from the conference in downtown Newark.

The mixer, dubbed Latine Soireé, will also celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and is presented by cannabis education and events company Cannademix.

“This event isn’t just a party — it’s a cultural and sensory experience designed to celebrate Latin Heritage Month in the most vivacious way possible,” said scientist, educator and Cannademix founder Josh Alb. The restaurant was ranked No. 2 on NJ.com as one of the city’s top places to eat in 2023.

Located at 538 Market St., the exclusive afterparty for NJ Cannabis Insider’s fall conference will be on the rooftop with a special happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Valet parking is at 34 Jackson St. An sister event, La Fiesta De Tu Vida, will pickup at 7 p.m. to midnight. Alb said the NJCI’s official afterparty is where industry insiders will continue networking and carry over their business conversations as they celebrate cannabis and Latin culture.

NJCI’s B2B cannabis business conference takes place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Newark Airport, offering informational and actionable “CannaTalks” and panels, featuring industry leaders, regulators and educators.

A special speed-networking sessions presented by Tenax Strategies to connect with the right people to help your business grow and thrive is programmed during the middle of the event. Seven New Jersey minority-owned applicants will be showcased as part of a Social Equity Discovery Area presented by South Jersey dispensary Holistic Solutions.

Doors open at 9 a.m. with the keynote speaker opening the all-day event at 10 a.m. The conference ends at 5 p.m. Attendees can join an official after party later that night.
