The battle over cannabis dispensaries and regulations in Hoboken is taking another turn this week when the city council once again considers an ordinance that would loosen the rules that dictate how close a dispensary can be to a school.

Legislation sponsored by Councilmen Phil Cohen and Joe Quintero for first reading Wednesday would change the minimum distance a dispensary can be from a primary or secondary school from 600 feet to 200 feet.
