NY Cannabis Insider (NYCI) is hosting a networking meetup that will also feature a candid discussion with panelists who will talk about one of the most unique offerings in the Empire State’s cannabis industry: the microbusiness license. This license authorizes the cultivation, processing, distribution, retail sale and delivery of the licensee’s own cannabis products – ideal for the development of innovative, craft brands. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to purchase tickets to tour the ayrloom production facility and campus grounds by UTV ride. The event is scheduled for June 13 in Syracuse and will be held at Beak & Skiff, home of ayrloom. Details and tickets available here.
Panelists sharing their perspectives include:
- Dennis Chick, CEO of Erie Side Farm LLC. With his strong agricultural upbringing, ancestral knowledge, and his love of the environment, Dennis began cultivation at the age of 16 years old. He has passionately committed the past 32 years to cannabis growth as a legacy grower and crucial player in legislation. Following completion of the Cannabis Compliance Training and Mentorship program, Dennis recently received a NYS Adult Use Microbusiness license.
- Tyme Ferris, Founder & CEO of Pantheon Perspective LLC. Tyme has led the process for licensing and overseeing acquisitions for nine companies across the country from Colorado to California, Vermont to Massachusetts. As a LGBTQ+ and cannabis activist, Ferris worked with regulators on the rollout of Colorado’s second phase medical cannabis program, passage of amendment 64, making Colorado the first state with an adult-use cannabis program, and he was formerly Chair for the Mohawk Valley Region for the Cannabis Association of New York (CANY).
- Joann Kudrewicz, CEO of Ravens View Genetics. As a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in the tightly regulated healthcare industry, Joann brings a wealth of expertise to Ravens View Genetics in the ever-evolving cannabis industry.
