New Jersey’s 38th recreational legal weed store is about to open.
Design 710 is located at 112 Park Place in the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City, two blocks from the boardwalk. It is the second legal weed store to open in the city and the closest to the beach.
The official opening date for recreational weed sales is Tuesday, Aug. 15.
The shop is part dispensary, part art gallery.
Its chic, modern interior features pieces from local artists, floor-to-ceiling panels with historic Atlantic City boardwalk billboards, and vintage train station flip boards behind the registers.

Design 710 carries brands like Airo, Anthologie, Breakwater, LIT, Kynd, and Seed and Strain. Customers can use either budtenders or kiosks to shop for products.
The store offers discounts to senior citizens, first responders (nurses, EMTs, veterans, police and fire department members), Atlantic City residents and cannabis industry workers.
Design 710 will be open daily from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
A free parking lot is across the street from the entrance on Pacific Ave.
