Maryland labor and civil rights agencies are set to issue guidance detailing how the state’s anti-discrimination laws apply to employment decisions made using AI technology, Gov. Wes Moore (D) said.
The bias guidance is part of a multi-prong policy framework that Moore announced Tuesday, with the broad aims of protecting consumers, workers, and children from the potential harms of artificial intelligence.
